How much does an LPA or Deputyship cost?

We offer a clear, fixed-fee service for creating and registering LPAs. An application to the Court of Protection for Deputyship is a more complex and therefore more costly process. In either case, we will provide you with a clear, written quotation for your approval before any work begins, so you have complete certainty on costs.

How long does the process take?

Once an LPA is signed, it must be registered with the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG), which can take up to 20 weeks. A Deputyship application is much slower and can take many months. This is why it is so important to plan ahead and create an LPA while you have capacity.
